A huge thank you for making me the wedding dress of my dreams - such a fantastic success and a centrepiece of our special day! The service you gave me just took away all the stress and worry with your calm professionalism. And my jewellery too - just perfect!

I am still waiting for the DVD of photos from our wedding in Portugal, but do have a few I have downloaded from the wedding website, which I attach fyi - excuse how small they are! I also attach a montage which my friend did for her blog.

Roberta you are so very talented at what you do it’s simply amazing. I have never felt so perfectly perfect wearing anything else in my entire life and for the first time in a long time felt beautiful and confident! Matt and I married on the 10th May and my Wendy Makin gown was perfect!

Hi Wendy and staff,

Thanks again for your amazing work for the completion of my dress for our wedding on March 22nd in Townsville. The day went far too quickly, but we thoroughly enjoyed the celebration with out friends and family. Everybody, (even the guys) commented on my dress, and the ladies adored the jewellery you organised to coordinate with the dress. By the end of the night I was very reluctant to take the dress off, as was very comfortable, now it awaits dry cleaning.

I hope you don’t think me too pretentious - I have attached some photos of me in the dress you made, as well as one with the bridal party, so you can see how the colours all worked together.

After a week of dramas the wedding day finally arrived. My wedding day couldn’t have been any better, the weather was perfect, the venue looked amazing, my new hubby looked more handsome than ever and when I slipped on my wedding gown I felt like the most beautiful bride ever.
I want to thank you for making me such a beautiful gown and for the excellent service you and the girls provide.

My gown was divine and everyone at the wedding kept saying how gorgeous it was. I felt so comfortable in the dress I could of worn it to bed! I only wish I could wear it again and am thinking of cutting it to a cocktail length so I can wear it out.

Your staff are simply amazing, they eased all my worries and stresses and went above and beyond to help me with any problems or issues even ones that weren’t about the dress.

I also must praise the staff of your Bella Donna store. In the final week before the wedding I had a bridesmaid dress emergency and they were very helpful and let us in without an appointment to raid the bridesmaid rack. We found a gorgeous pink number that looked amazing and suited the colours of the wedding.

So thank you for not only making me the most wonderful dress but also for all the advice, emergency help and wonderful service… you are all truly amazing.

I was speaking to Lou in the Stanley Street, East Brisbane Bella Donna shop about how happy I was with the beautiful wedding dress I bought at Bella Donna and with all the help she gave me with my fittings.

All that planning and now it is all over I may just have to come visit you each year and try on gowns. My dream was to get married and now it is over and I think I will never get to do it again I told Steve we may need to renew our vows every 5 years.
